Autins Group appoints Andy Bloomer as new Chief Executive Officer

LONDON, UK: Autins Group plc (AIM: AUTG), the UK and European manufacturer of the patented Neptune melt-blown material and specialist in the design, manufacture and supply of acoustic and thermal insulation solutions, announced the appointment of Andrew (Andy) Bloomer as Chief Executive Officer with effect from 22 April 2024. Gareth Kaminski-Cook will step down from the Board and his role of CEO at the same time.

Andy Bloomer brings extensive experience of the European automotive manufacturing industry, particularly with electric vehicles and specialist fibre applications, having most recently held the role of Sales & Marketing Director EMEA – Thermal Ceramics at Main Market listed Morgan Advanced Materials plc, a role which he has held since March 2020 (initially in an interim capacity). Here he had commercial responsibility for a c.£150m division of a UK plc across entities in UK, Germany, Poland, Spain, Italy, France, United Arab Emirates & South Africa.

Since joining Morgan Advanced Materials plc in 2014, Andy has held various commercial management positions, including leading their Global Automotive business. He has also previously worked at Unipart Eberspächer, DENSO & Jaguar Land Rover.
