IEG acquires Maxbox Supplies to expand liquid waste solutions

Impact Environmental Group (IEG), a global provider of environmental products and services, has acquired Maxbox Supplies, a Texas-based manufacturer and distributor of spill prevention and containment products. The deal, which follows IEG’s acquisition of The Tarp Depot in 2023, strengthens IEG’s presence in the liquid waste sector and enables it to offer a wider range of solutions to customers across the U.S.

Brian Beth, IEG President & CEO, said that Maxbox Supplies was a perfect complement to IEG’s business, as it added a broader product line, additional manufacturing capacity, and a talented team to IEG’s existing liquid waste business. He added that the acquisition supported IEG’s plans to expand its liquid waste solutions to the Northeast and West regions, where it currently has a limited presence.

Maxbox Supplies, founded in 2009, designs and manufactures containment berms, tarps, filters, and roll-off parts in its primary facility in Pearland, TX. Maxbox Rentals, a separate entity that rents out equipment and vehicles, was not part of the transaction and will continue to operate independently.

IEG, founded in 1999, has grown into a global environmental products and services business, with a comprehensive suite of new and replacement products for waste containers, collection and compaction equipment, and waste transportation equipment. IEG has facilities across the US and Europe and operates under several brands, including Impact, Roll-Tech, Midland Chutes, Northern Extrusion, United Compaction Services, Deroche Canvas, Tarp Depot, Container Components, Egbert Taylor, UKCM and Capital Compactors. IEG is headquartered in Elgin, Illinois.
