PARIS: Edenred, a global leader in digital services and payments, has announced the acquisition of RB, a Brazilian company that specializes in employee transport benefits. The deal will enhance Edenred’s offerings in the Brazilian benefits market, especially in the SME segment, and generate significant synergies.
RB, founded in 1999, manages and issues transport cards and also distributes third-party meal and food cards. The company has more than 15,000 clients and generated revenue of more than R$100m in 2023.
Edenred, which operates Ticket Restaurante, Ticket Alimentação and Ticket Super Flex in Brazil, will combine RB’s features with its own employee mobility solution to offer a best-in-class product and service to its customers.

The deal is expected to be EBITDA and EPS accretive on year 1 and is subject to approval from the Brazilian authorities.
