SYDNEY— Airtasker Limited (ASX:ART) said Monday it has expanded its strategic partnership with iHeartMedia Inc. (NASDAQ:IHRT), securing an additional US$5 million in advertising inventory to accelerate growth in the United States.
The deal builds on an initial partnership launched in August 2024 that provided Airtasker USA with US$5 million in media resources and helped the company reach an annualized gross marketplace volume of A$7.5 million in June 2025.
Under the new agreement, iHeartMedia will provide Airtasker USA with advertising across its 860 broadcast and streaming stations in 160 U.S. cities, its global podcast network, and marquee events such as the iHeartRadio Music Festival. In exchange, Airtasker will issue a three‑year, US$5 million convertible note carrying a 5% coupon.
Airtasker CEO Tim Fung said the expanded partnership underscores the company’s ambition to scale in the U.S. market. “With an audience of over 276 million users every month, this strategic partnership will give us the resources we need to take Airtasker’s mission to the biggest market in the world,” Fung said.
The announcement coincides with Airtasker’s Investor Day scheduled for Nov. 26, featuring executives from iHeartMedia, oOh!media, ARN and the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Formula One team.
Airtasker, founded in 2012, is Australia’s leading online marketplace for local services. Taskers have completed more than 5 million jobs worldwide, generating over A$720 million in earnings for Australian workers.
