LONDON: Volex plc (AIM: VLX), a global manufacturer of power and data transmission products, announced Monday a series of leadership changes, including the appointment of Dave Webster as non-executive chair and Nat Rothschild as chief executive officer.
The changes are effective immediately, the company said.
Webster brings extensive experience leading global manufacturing firms. He currently serves as CEO of CPM Holdings, Inc., a position he has held since 2020. Before that, he led Electrical Components International for more than two decades, growing it into a business with over $1 billion in revenue.
“It is a pleasure to join Volex at this stage in the Group’s evolution, as it continues to implement its strategy at pace,” Webster said in a statement. “The opportunity for further growth is enormous, and I look forward to working with the Board to drive shareholder value.”
In his new role, Webster will also join the company’s nominations committee.
Rothschild, who previously served as chair, now assumes the CEO role. He said the new structure reflects the company’s current priorities.
“This evolution in our leadership structure underlines our key priorities today – to extend and deepen our customer relationships across our growing business and to focus on the delivery of our strategy,” Rothschild said.
Volex, headquartered in the United Kingdom, specializes in manufacturing critical components for power and data applications across various industries.
