LONDON: Youtooz, the community-driven collectibles company, said on Wednesday it has acquired UK-based Microdesigns, a maker of premium brick-built display models of iconic venues and sports teams, marking its entry into the licensed sports goods category.
The deal, whose financial terms were not disclosed, adds buildable collectibles to Youtooz’s product portfolio and strengthens its presence across cultural and sports partnerships.
“Microdesigns has built something special—brick collectibles that honor what these stadiums and landmarks mean to the people who love them,” said Mark Prokoudine, Co-founder and Chairman of Youtooz. “Josh and his team operate the same way we do, with that genuine belief in craft, community and attention to detail.”
Microdesigns, founded by Josh Moir, specializes in venue-specific and licensed brickset editions sold through online channels and on-site retail. The company will continue to operate under the Youtooz brand, maintaining product quality and customer support.
“Joining Youtooz is an ideal next chapter for Microdesigns,” Moir said. “With Youtooz’s scale, creative roster, and fan-first approach, we can bring this category to a much larger global audience.”
The acquisition unlocks synergies in design, packaging, and manufacturing, while combining Youtooz’s licensing pipeline with Microdesigns’ architecture-forward design system. It also expands Youtooz’s omnichannel reach into museums, heritage attractions, and stadium stores.
Youtooz, which releases over 1,000 unique products annually, is known for turning internet culture into collectible drops inspired by creators and fans.
