HOUSTON – Industrial distributor DXP Enterprises Inc said on Monday it has completed the acquisition of pump supplier Triangle Pump & Equipment Inc, a move aimed at expanding its geographic footprint and capabilities in the water and wastewater sector.
DXP, which provides pumping solutions and other industrial equipment, funded the deal for Ridgefield, Washington-based Triangle with cash on hand, according to a company statement. The definitive agreement was signed on November 1.
Founded in 1975, Triangle is a manufacturers’ representative and distributor specializing in pumps and process equipment for municipal and industrial water and wastewater applications, including aftermarket service.
“We are pleased to welcome the Triangle Pump & Equipment employees to the DXP team,” said David R. Little, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DXP. “Triangle is a great company with key differentiators and provides us with high caliber people.”
For the twelve months ended June 30, 2025, Triangle generated sales of approximately $15.1 million and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of $2.4 million. DXP stated the adjusted EBITDA figure excludes non-recurring items that will not continue post-acquisition.
Kent Yee, Chief Financial Officer of DXP, said the acquisition supports the company’s strategy to build its water division into a full-line platform. “We look forward to finishing 2025 on this same path and heading into 2026 with more acquisitions as we scale DXP,” Yee said.
