Crowd Funding Funding Give Help Nonprofit Concept

SAN FRANCISCO: UnifyApps, a company building an enterprise operating system for artificial intelligence, announced Thursday it has raised a $50 million Series B funding round led by WestBridge Capital. The round included participation from ICONIQ and other investors.

The new capital brings UnifyApps’ total funding to $81 million. The company also announced that Ragy Thomas, a veteran enterprise software executive, is joining as chairman and co-CEO alongside co-founder and current CEO Pavitar Singh.

The funding arrives as enterprises struggle to scale generative AI projects beyond isolated pilots. According to the company, a “95% failure rate” for enterprise AI solutions is caused by “AI sprawl,” where applications cannot connect to siloed data sources and business systems.

“While most organizations are still stuck in experimentation, UnifyApps helps them scale real AI across workflows — securely, with strong governance, and with measurable ROI,” said Rishit Desai, a partner at WestBridge Capital. “We believe that this is the infrastructure layer for the next generation of enterprise software.”

UnifyApps’ platform uses a low-code, no-code interface and an AI-native architecture to unify what it calls systems of knowledge, record, and activity. This allows companies to connect data from platforms like Salesforce and Workday, apply AI models, and automate workflows within existing employee tools.

The company said it has grown revenue more than 600% year over year and serves global clients including HDFC Bank, Deutsche Telekom, and the governments of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Use cases include automating HR operations, streamlining insurance claims and optimizing supply chains.

“The next decade will belong to AI-native enterprises,” Thomas said. “We are seeing the same inflection point we saw with the rise of the internet — every piece of software, workflow, and process will be reinvented with AI at the core.”

UnifyApps said the new funds will be used to expand its team, accelerate platform development and grow its presence in Europe.

“Ragy’s experience in building and scaling one of the world’s leading enterprise software companies will accelerate our go-to-market growth and global footprint,” Singh said.
