REDMOND: DXP Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ: DXPE) announced Friday it has completed the acquisition of APSCO, LLC, a leading manufacturer’s representative of pumps, controls and process equipment serving the water and wastewater industry.
Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Redmond, Washington, APSCO operates across Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming. The acquisition, funded with cash from DXP’s balance sheet, strengthens the company’s presence in the Pacific Northwest and western United States.
“We are pleased to announce the acquisition of APSCO,” said David Little, chairman and CEO of DXP. “APSCO adds another great company to our water and wastewater platform and enhances our product, aftermarket and service capabilities.”
The definitive agreement was signed Oct. 1. APSCO reported approximately $12.9 million in sales and $1.5 million in adjusted EBITDA for the 12 months ending July 31. Adjusted EBITDA includes income before tax, interest, depreciation, amortization, non-recurring items and excludes go-forward selling costs.
Kent Yee, DXP’s chief financial officer, said the acquisition aligns with the company’s strategy of expanding in targeted markets and business models. “APSCO complements our recent focus on water and wastewater acquisitions and provides a meaningful footprint in the region,” Yee said. “We look forward to closing 2025 with additional acquisitions and continuing this path into 2026.”
