
ERBIL: Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd. has begun exporting crude oil from the Shaikan Field through the Iraq-Türkiye Pipeline, marking a key milestone in the company’s 2025 production strategy.
Exports commenced on Sept. 27 and are expected to reach full capacity in the coming days as pipeline availability continues to ramp up, the company said in a statement.
Gross production from the Shaikan Field has averaged approximately 40,900 barrels of oil per day (bopd) so far this year, as of Sept. 27. Gulf Keystone reaffirmed its full-year 2025 production guidance of 40,000 to 42,000 bopd.
