FAIRFIELD: BNP Associates, Inc., a leading air transportation and logistics engineering firm backed by Godspeed Capital Management LP, announced on Thursday the acquisition of Studdiford Technical Solutions, LLC, a specialized consulting firm focused on airport systems and transportation security.
The acquisition enhances BNP’s terminal design portfolio and adds advanced technology capabilities to its global aviation offerings. Founded in 2015 by Larry Studdiford, STS brings over 200 years of combined engineering and project management experience, with a client roster that includes the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), major airline carriers, and top-tier architectural and engineering firms.
“We look forward to welcoming STS as we seek to augment BNP’s offerings in the aviation design market,” said Damien Breier, CEO of BNP. “Their proven track record with TSA and leading airlines will strengthen our platform’s reach and technical depth.”
STS marks BNP’s second acquisition in 2025, following its purchase of Establish earlier this year. BNP was launched as Godspeed Capital’s eighth dedicated platform brand in late 2024.
James Reid, Principal at Godspeed Capital, said the partnership with STS would expand BNP’s footprint in airport security and infrastructure. “STS is a proven innovator in aviation consulting. Their integration into BNP is a strategic step toward building a best-in-class air transportation design platform.”
Larry Studdiford, Founder of STS, expressed enthusiasm for the transition. “We’ve built STS around adaptability and innovation. Joining BNP allows us to scale our impact and deliver even greater value to our clients.”
