For three months, Aris reported a 9% increase in Adjusted EBITDA to $54.6 million

HOUSTON: Aris Water Solutions Inc. announced a strong second quarter on Tuesday, posting a net income of $14.1 million and setting a new record for produced water handling volumes. The company’s performance comes ahead of a planned acquisition by Western Midstream Partners LP, a deal valued at approximately $1.5 billion.
For the three months ended June 30, Aris reported a 9% increase in Adjusted EBITDA to $54.6 million, compared to the same period in 2024. Produced water handling volumes grew 13% year-over-year, marking a second consecutive quarter of record volumes. Additionally, recycled water volumes saw a significant jump, rising 35% from the second quarter of last year.
In a recent development, Aris and Western Midstream Partners announced on August 6 that they had entered a definitive agreement for Western Midstream to acquire all outstanding shares of Aris in an equity-and-cash transaction. The acquisition is expected to close later this year.
Aris Water Solutions, which provides water handling and recycling services to the oil and gas industry, maintained a strong financial position, reporting a leverage ratio of 2.0x at the end of the quarter. The company’s board of directors also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.14 per share, payable on September 18 to shareholders of record as of September 4.
