Google has officially kicked off its teaser campaign for the Pixel 10 Pro, confirming the device’s name and launch date ahead of its August 20 unveiling. The campaign, now live on the Google Store, showcases the upcoming flagship in a muted Moonstone colorway and hints at an exclusive offer for new subscribers.
According to reports, while the Pixel 10 Pro closely resembles its predecessor, the Pixel 9 Pro, a temperature sensor positioned below the flash in the camera array distinguishes the new model.
The teaser also includes a reference in the backend code to a video prompt asking Gemini—Google’s AI assistant—to write a breakup letter to an old phone, though the clip itself is not visible on the site.
The Pixel 10 series will include four models: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Accompanying devices such as the Pixel Buds 2a and Pixel Watch 4 are also expected to debut at the Made by Google event.
Leaks suggest the Pixel 10 lineup will feature Google’s new Tensor G5 chip, with the base model gaining a triple-camera setup and a telephoto lens. The Pro variant will reportedly start with 256GB of storage. Pricing is expected to remain consistent with the Pixel 9 series.
Running Android 16 and adopting the Material 3 Expressive design language, the Pixel 10 series will offer seven years of software support. While it may not match the raw power or fast charging speeds of competitors like OnePlus or Honor, the Pixel 10 is positioned as a camera-first device, emphasizing AI-driven experiences powered by Gemini.
With promotional deals currently available on Pixel 9 models, consumers may find compelling alternatives ahead of the new launch.
