Z2Data, a leading provider of supply chain risk management (SCRM) solutions, announced Thursday its acquisition of AMSYS, a German-based firm with a Romanian subsidiary, known for its expertise in life cycle management, obsolescence mitigation and compliance automation.
The move advances Z2Data’s mission to deliver an integrated platform that helps organizations reduce risk across product development, sourcing and regulatory operations.
“AMSYS has built a strong reputation helping companies manage risk through structured tools and processes,” said Z2Data CEO Mohammad Ahmad. “Joining forces expands our presence in Europe and strengthens our ability to deliver end-to-end solutions that help customers act faster and manage risk more effectively.”
Founded in 2014, AMSYS provides risk intelligence tools to industries ranging from aerospace and defense to medical and electronics. Its flagship Life Cycle Management (LCM) Client delivers life cycle data, disruption risk analysis and workflow-based case management.
By integrating AMSYS’s LCM Client into Z2Data’s existing platform, customers will gain comprehensive insights into supply chain risk—from part-level analytics to sub-tier compliance data. The combined solution enhances life cycle management, obsolescence planning and regulatory responsiveness.
“Joining forces with Z2Data enables us to scale our mission and embed predictive intelligence across the global supply chain ecosystem,” AMSYS co-founders Bjoern Bartels and Hans-Georg Dueck said in a joint statement.
The acquisition comes as supply chains face mounting pressure from geopolitical tensions, regulatory shifts and material shortages. Z2Data aims to position itself as the most complete SCRM platform for product-driven organizations globally.
