FRANKFURT: Circus SE (XETRA: CA1), a global leader in AI robotics for the food service industry, announced Wednesday the successful acquisition of agentic AI company FullyAI, a major step in its mission to create a unified intelligence layer across its robotics and software systems.
FullyAI will serve as the cognitive engine for Circus’ ecosystem, beginning with an AI-powered voice ordering terminal and expanding into real-time operational decision-making, predictive maintenance, autonomous optimization, and personalized user experiences.
By integrating with Circus’ patented CA-1 meal supply robots, FullyAI will process billions of data points to create a continuously learning intelligence network that connects every robot and software process in real time.
The system will analyze inventory, customer behavior, and operational data to form what Circus calls the “first global nutrition intelligence network.”
“FullyAI advances our systems into a true intelligent ecosystem—one that learns, predicts, and adapts,” said Nikolas Bullwinkel, CEO and founder of Circus SE.
“This acquisition builds the foundation for a global nutrition intelligence layer, similar to what Tesla achieved in autonomous driving or Meta in social data.”
As part of the deal, FullyAI’s engineering team and management have joined Circus. Niklas von Weihe, who previously worked with Meta’s AI teams, has been appointed Director of AI, while Minh Dao, former CEO of a growth consultancy serving Tesla, Google, and McDonald’s, joins as VP of Growth.
The transaction, finalized under terms outlined in a January 12 ad hoc announcement, includes the issuance of 400,000 new shares with a 36-month lock-up period. Remaining legal steps are expected to be completed by the end of June.
Circus SE is a global AI-robotics company specializing in food service automation, combining hardware, software, and intelligence systems to optimize nutrition supply chains.
