Razer has launched the latest iteration of its Blade 14 gaming laptop, calling it the company’s thinnest-ever 14-inch model. The redesigned device features Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5060 and 5070 mobile GPUs, alongside AMD’s Ryzen AI 9 365 processor.

The new Blade 14 measures just 15.7mm at its slimmest point and weighs 1.63kg. Milled from a single block of T6-grade aluminum, it retains Razer’s signature premium build while maintaining a compact form factor. The company has also introduced a new “Thermal Hood” design and a large vapor chamber, aimed at improving heat management and airflow for enhanced performance.

Razer claims the laptop can deliver up to 11 hours of battery life, powered by a 72 Whr battery. Connectivity options include two USB 4 (Type-C) ports, HDMI 2.1, Bluetooth 5.4, and Wi-Fi 7.

Under the hood, the Blade 14 is equipped with Nvidia’s latest 50-series mobile GPUs, offering the benefits of the Nvidia Blackwell architecture and DLSS 4’s multi-frame generation. Both the RTX 5060 and RTX 5070 versions feature a 100W TGP with an additional 15W “Dynamic Boost.” The Ryzen AI 9 365 processor supports 10 cores and 20 threads, with a base clock of 2GHz and a boost clock of up to 5GHz.

Memory options range from 16GB to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM at 8000MHz, though it is not user-upgradable. The 14-inch OLED display runs at 2880×1800 resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 0.2ms response time, and support for Nvidia G-Sync, offering a 1M:1 contrast ratio and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage.

Razer is also introducing an RTX 5060 option for its Blade 16 model, featuring the same processor and RAM configurations as the Blade 14. However, the Blade 16 boasts a QHD+ 240Hz OLED display.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 launched yesterday, alongside its driver, but comprehensive reviews are yet to determine real-world performance. Early controlled benchmarks suggest up to a 25% improvement over the RTX 4060.

Pricing for the Blade 14 starts at $2,299.99 for the RTX 5060 version, with the RTX 5070 model retailing at $2,699. Storage options go up to 2TB of SSD capacity.
