Falcon’s Beyond Global, Inc. (Nasdaq: FBYD) announced today the acquisition of Oceaneering Entertainment Systems (OES), a division of Oceaneering International Inc. (NYSE: OII), strengthening its position as a leading force in immersive storytelling and themed entertainment.
Under the transaction, Falcon’s Beyond acquired OES’s portfolio of patented technologies, proprietary engineering processes, and a 106,000-square-foot facility, enhancing its research, development, testing, and integration capabilities.
The company also hired key members of OES’s experienced team and secured an option to purchase additional inventory by July 23, 2025. The deal follows a letter of intent announced in November 2024.
OES has been a prominent provider of complex ride and show systems for top theme parks worldwide, earning 12 Thea Awards from the Themed Entertainment Association.
Its work includes attractions such as The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man and Transformers: The Ride 3D at Universal Orlando Resort, Justice League: Battle for Metropolis at Six Flags, and the Shuttle Launch Experience at the Kennedy Space Center. Falcon’s Beyond and OES have collaborated for over two decades on groundbreaking entertainment projects.

The move is expected to contribute positively to future earnings and long-term growth while reinforcing Falcon’s ability to deliver next-generation attractions for both destination developments and third-party clients.
Falcon’s will support all legacy OES products moving forward, ensuring continuity through its existing personnel and technology.
