MANCHESTER: Venturi, a Manchester-based technology recruitment specialist, has been acquired by international professional services firm Org Group as part of its expansion into Europe and the U.S., the companies announced Wednesday.
Venturi, which also operates in New York and Düsseldorf, will join Org Group’s portfolio, which includes talent services firm Morgan McKinley, business process company Abtran and consultancy Org Advisory. The acquisition strengthens Org Group’s presence in the competitive digital talent market, particularly in the U.K., Germany and the U.S. — key regions for tech industry growth.
Founded by Managing Director Brad Lamb, Venturi specializes in placing professionals in data, software engineering, enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) roles. The firm works with high-growth businesses in tech consulting, fintech and e-commerce.
“Venturi has a leading presence in key technology sectors,” said Org Group CEO Seb O’Connell. “This strategic combination will add further value and scale to our offering.”
Lamb and Venturi’s leadership team will remain following the acquisition. Lamb called the deal a “new chapter of growth and innovation,” adding that the partnership aligns with the company’s values and ambitions.
Ireland-based Org Group employs more than 3,000 people across 10 countries and focuses on digital transformation, workforce enablement and organizational design. The acquisition is expected to enhance its capabilities in these areas.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
