Uber Technologies Inc. (NYSE: UBER) and iFood, a leading Latin American delivery platform, announced a partnership Tuesday to integrate ride-hailing and delivery services in Brazil.
Under the agreement, iFood users can book Uber rides directly in its app, while Uber users will access iFood’s food, grocery, and pharmacy deliveries. The integration aims to streamline services for millions of Brazilians.
“This partnership represents a big milestone in our mission to help people go anywhere and get anything,” said Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi. iFood CEO Diego Barreto called it “a major step forward” for consumers and businesses.
The feature will launch in select Brazilian cities in late 2025 before expanding nationwide. Uber Direct and Uber Flash services will remain unchanged.
Uber operates in over 70 countries, while iFood processes 120 million monthly orders across Brazil.
