Strategic investor acquires 11.6% stake in Equity Story

SYDNEY: Equity Story Group Ltd (ASX: EQS) announced on February 28, 2025, that Capital Haus Pty Ltd has acquired an 11.6% strategic stake in the company at 2.6 cents per share, matching the last traded price on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

Capital Haus, a wealth management firm with offices in Australia, Dubai, and Switzerland, specializes in tailored investment solutions for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, endowments, institutions, and foundations. The firm is known for its collaborative approach and comprehensive financial strategies.

As part of the investment, Brendan Gow, Founder and Managing Director of Capital Haus, has joined the Equity Story Board as an Executive Director responsible for Operations. Gow brings over 17 years of global experience in wealth and financial management, with a strong background in Australia and the Middle East. He is also a recognized contributor to financial publications such as Yahoo Finance and Forbes.

Shane White, CEO of Equity Story, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership. “This is an exciting and pivotal moment for Equity Story,” White said. “Capital Haus’ investment represents far more than financial backing—it is a strategic alignment with a progressive global wealth management innovator that shares our vision of empowering investors with knowledge, comfort, and choice.”

Gow will receive an annual remuneration of $104,000, subject to performance-based metrics assessed quarterly. His appointment follows the recent addition of Ross Landles as Chairman and a new licensing partnership, marking significant steps in Equity Story’s growth strategy.

Capital Haus will be issued 19,230,770 shares, voluntarily escrowed for 12 months, and 12,820,513 options with an exercise price of 5 cents, expiring on December 19, 2026. The shares are expected to be issued on March 3, 2025, pending shareholder approval. The funds from the placement will be used to expand Equity Story’s wealth management services and for general working capital.
