Dassault Systèmes (Euronext Paris: FR0014003TT8, DSY.PA) announced the launch of “3D UNIV+RSES,” a generative AI technology that aims to transform global IP Lifecycle Management (IPLM). This innovative architecture will enable clients to fully utilize their 3D design, virtual twins, and PLM data in a premier digital environment.
The “3D UNIV+RSES” will support new categories of Experience as a Service (XaaS) such as Generative Experiences (GenXp), Virtual Companions, and Virtual Twin Experience as a Service (VTaaS). Dassault Systèmes’ multi-AI platforms—3DEXPERIENCE (manufacturing), MEDIDATA (life sciences and healthcare), and CENTRIC (consumer goods and food)—offer secured environments to generate and protect intellectual property.
“The game-changers of tomorrow will generate rather than consume, giving back to the planet,” said Bernard Charlès, Executive Chairman of Dassault Systèmes. “Our new architecture protects clients’ virtual assets and reveals the invisible, creating Virtual Twin Experiences that harmonize product, nature, and life.”
“3D UNIV+RSES,” the seventh generation of world representation introduced by Dassault Systèmes over 44 years, combines modeling, simulation, real-world evidence, and AI-generated content. It provides a secure environment for cross-simulating virtual twins and training multi-AI engines.
“The extensive work done by Bernard Charlès and our R&D teams to adopt generative AI is impressive,” said Pascal Daloz, CEO of Dassault Systèmes. “This will enable clients to leverage AI at every stage of the product and service lifecycle, improving sustainability and consumer experience.”
In conjunction with this launch, Dassault Systèmes and Volkswagen Group have announced a long-term partnership to advance Volkswagen’s digital infrastructure. Volkswagen Group will implement Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform to streamline vehicle development using virtual twins.
“We are creating a technological leap for our teams in development and factory planning,” said Hauke Stars, Board Member at Volkswagen Group for IT. “Partnering with Dassault Systèmes marks an important milestone in advancing our IT system landscape.”
Pascal Daloz added, “Our AI-powered virtual twins will unify Volkswagen Group’s hardware and software innovation, accelerating its software-driven transformation.”
Dassault Systèmes continues to pioneer the Generative Economy, offering transformative solutions for various sectors including manufacturing, healthcare, and consumer goods.
