LONDON: Global Connectivity plc (AQSE: GCON), a company that focuses on enhancing communication services and technologies, has announced a significant capital investment. On 15 January, shareholders injected a further £6,198,805 into Voneus Limited, a leading UK broadband provider. This investment includes their stake in Rural Broadband Solutions Holdings Limited (RBSHL) and PLUG Group Limited.
Previously, on 21 November 2024, Global Connectivity plc reported a valuation of £11.7 million, translating to 3.2p per GCON share. Despite the latest investment, GCON decided not to invest further, maintaining a 9.0% stake in RBSHL’s common equity. However, RBSHL preserved its 41% stake in Voneus by contributing £2,543,236 to the total round of £6,198,805.
This latest capital injection postulates an increase in Voneus’s intrinsic value, helping to counter potential dilution effects for Global Connectivity plc’s shareholders.
