ATLANTA: Coca-Cola Bottlers’ Sales & Services Company (CCBSS) announced the election of Caitlyn Carr as its new President and CEO, effective June 3, 2024. The decision was made by the Board of Directors, representing nearly 70 independent North American Coca-Cola bottlers.

Carr, a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience within the Coca-Cola System, will take over from Brandi Shortt, who has expressed great confidence in Carr’s ability to steer CCBSS towards unprecedented success. Carr’s appointment is seen as a strategic move, leveraging her extensive background in shared services, procurement, and the beverage sector to drive innovation and efficiency across the company’s operations.

As the incoming President and CEO of Coca-Cola Bottlers’ Sales & Services Company, Caitlyn Carr will oversee a shared services organization that impacts thousands of customers and associates daily, along with managing a procurement spend exceeding $70 billion. Her role places her at the helm of the senior executive leadership within the Coca-Cola System, working in close collaboration with North American bottling partners and The Coca-Cola Company.

Caitlyn Carr’s journey with Coca-Cola began in 2001, and she has since held various roles of increasing responsibility, including Vice President of Customer Business Solutions and Strategy & Operations Procurement. Her transformative leadership has been marked by multimillion-dollar savings and significant advancements in performance and customer service.

Her tenure has been characterized by a commitment to associate development and organizational change, positioning her as a leader capable of fostering teamwork and delivering results. Carr’s insights are expected to be invaluable as Coca-Cola Bottlers’ Sales & Services Company (CCBSS) continues to innovate and support the Coca-Cola Bottling System in North America.

Carr is a Georgia Institute of Technology alumna, holding a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Outside of her professional life, she is a devoted mother to two teenagers, an avid traveler, and enjoys spending time outdoors with her two dogs.
