Brinc acquires mentorship platform Callmi

DUBAI, UA: To enhance entrepreneurial support in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, Brinc, a leading name in corporate innovation and venture acceleration, has announced the acquisition of Callmi, a mentorship platform renowned for its real-time video consultations with elite professionals.

The Dubai-based Callmi platform is celebrated for connecting emerging entrepreneurs with a network of C-suite executives and industry pioneers, such as Jad Halaoui from Washmen, Nelio Leone of Careem fame, and Siddiq Faird of Smart Crowd. This strategic acquisition will see Callmi’s integration into Brinc’s founder pathways, offering specialized mentorship to both Brinc Academy graduates and participants in sector-specific accelerator programs.

Callmi’s commitment to philanthropy is evident in its mentorship model, where 40% of mentors pledge to donate their earnings to charities. In line with this ethos, Brinc and Callmi will contribute all fees from the first 100 calls in May to charitable organizations including the Red Crescent, Dubai Center for Special Needs, and Abu Dhabi Mangroves.

Manav Gupta, CEO and founder of Brinc, expressed his enthusiasm for the acquisition, stating it not only expands Brinc’s global presence but also reaffirms its dedication to the MENA region. “Integrating Callmi into our services enriches our offerings with innovative solutions and deep local insights,” said Gupta.

The acquisition is poised to address the immediate needs of MENA’s entrepreneurs, fostering connections across the globe. Brinc’s investment in Callmi’s product development will introduce features like calendar syncing, multi-user sessions, and multi-language support, catering to a diverse international audience.

Looking forward, Brinc anticipates significant growth and an expanded reach, leveraging Callmi’s capabilities and upcoming enhancements to improve accessibility and scalability. This year, Callmi aims to broaden its operations to Brinc’s existing markets and introduce novel engagement methods for founders, including group mentoring, interactive workshops, and in-person events, marking a pivotal step in democratizing access to expert knowledge and empowering the entrepreneurial spirit within the MENA region.
