PARIS: Air Liquide has acquired homecare entities in Belgium and the Netherlands, supporting 10,000 patients with chronic conditions. The €10 million turnover operation adds to the Group’s existing support of 2 million people worldwide and aligns with its focus on Home Healthcare as a priority development area.
The acquisition includes VitalAire, Air Liquide’s Home Healthcare brand, which is set to enhance its medico-technical expertise and digital service offerings in the region. This move promises to improve patient care plans through the combined geographic and therapeutic strengths of the new entities and the professionalism of Air Liquide’s teams.
Air Liquide Healthcare, a leader in medical gases and home healthcare services, employs 16,500 people to aid 2 million chronic patients and supply medical gases to 20,000 hospitals. The Group’s commitment to Value-based Healthcare aims to deliver patient benefits efficiently, contributing to a sustainable healthcare system.
