Epiq Solutions, backed by The Veritas Capital Vantage Fund, has successfully completed the acquisition of CyberRadio Solutions, a division of G3 Technologies known for its advanced radio frequency (RF) products.
CyberRadio Solutions, established in 2011, has been at the forefront of developing high-performance RF receivers and embedded signal processing platforms. Their products are distinguished by exceptional RF performance, extensive channel count, and an impressive tuning range that reaches up to 50 GHz.
This acquisition is set to complement Epiq’s expertise in crafting small form factor SDR modules and platforms, which are essential for missions where size, weight, and power considerations are paramount.
The integration of CyberRadio into Epiq’s portfolio promises to extend their capabilities across various domains, including maritime, land, air, and space, catering to diverse applications such as remote sensing, drone detection, direction finding, and communications.
CyberRadio will maintain its operations in Mount Airy, MD, under the continued leadership of President Rob Diefes. Legal counsel for the transaction was provided by Latham & Watkins LLP for Epiq and Veritas, while Miles & Stockbridge represented CyberRadio. Monument Capital Partners acted as the financial advisor to CyberRadio. The financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed.
Epiq Solutions has a longstanding reputation for delivering cutting-edge SDR products and processing solutions, with over 14 years of service to government and commercial enterprise customers and more than 20,000 devices deployed. CyberRadio Solutions complements this with a decade of experience in providing affordable, high-performance RF/Microwave SDRs with frequency ranges up to 50 GHz, serving the most demanding mission requirements for top-tier government and commercial clients.
Veritas Capital, a technology investor managing over $40 billion in assets, focuses on companies at the nexus of technology and government services. The firm is committed to creating value and making a positive impact in critical areas such as healthcare, education, and national security through strategic company transformations.
“CyberRadio Solutions’ team and product portfolio brings a new dimension to Epiq, where exceptional RF performance is a mission enabler, and we are thrilled to welcome them to our team,” said John Orlando, CEO and co-founder of Epiq Solutions.
“Our customers can count on Epiq to be there with both products and technical expertise to enable their RF spectrum dominance challenges as they emerge in the coming years.”
“Serving our customers is our highest priority, and joining the Epiq platform will enable CRS to benefit from increased scale and investment in R&D to continue leading-edge innovation,” said Rob Diefes, President of CRS.
