Mitsubishi Electric Corporation has announced the full acquisition of French air-conditioning company AIRCALO through its subsidiaries Mitsubishi Electric Hydronics & IT Cooling Systems S.p.A. and Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V.
The acquisition, completed on April 2, marks a significant step for Mitsubishi Electric as it aims to capitalize on AIRCALO’s extensive product range and exceptional customization capabilities.
AIRCALO, a well-established name in the French market, is renowned for its robust product lines and ability to deliver made-to-order solutions, particularly in fan coil units (FCUs) and air handling units (AHUs).
This acquisition is expected to enhance Mitsubishi Electric’s offerings by integrating AIRCALO’s internal customization and packaging of peripheral components, streamlining installation processes, reducing labor costs, and minimizing errors.
The move is seen as a response to the growing demand for customized hydronic HVAC solutions and heightened environmental consciousness in Europe.
Mitsubishi Electric is poised to leverage this opportunity to upgrade its services and meet the unique requirements of each installation site, further solidifying its market leadership in the region.
