Eurofins Scientific has acquired Ascend Clinical in the United States

LUXEMBOURG: Eurofins Scientific (EUFI.PA), a global leader in bioanalytical testing, has announced the successful acquisition of Ascend Clinical, LLC, the premier independent kidney dialysis laboratory in the United States.

Ascend Clinical, known for its cutting-edge laboratory in Sunnyvale, California, and a dedicated team of 170 professionals, has been at the forefront of providing comprehensive testing services to dialysis centers and hospitals nationwide.

This acquisition marks a pivotal moment for Eurofins, enhancing its portfolio with Ascend’s specialized chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and virology testing services. Moreover, Ascend’s expertise in water and dialysate testing is expected to significantly improve safety standards for dialysis patients and support regulatory compliance.
