To enhance its automation solutions, Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: LECO), a global leader in welding and cutting technologies, has announced the acquisition of RedViking, a renowned automation system integrator.
This acquisition marks a significant expansion for Lincoln Electric, particularly in the aerospace and defense sectors.
RedViking, based in Plymouth, Michigan, is at the forefront of developing autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs), mobile robots, and dynamic test systems. Their proprietary manufacturing execution system (MES) software is a testament to their innovative approach to automation.
With an impressive clientele across aerospace, defense, transportation, and general industry, RedViking’s expertise is set to complement Lincoln Electric’s extensive portfolio.

The financial details of the acquisition, which sees RedViking’s annual revenue of approximately $70 million being incorporated into Lincoln Electric’s Americas Welding Segment, have not been disclosed.
