Informatica launches AI-powered cloud data management in Saudi Arabia

Informatica (NYSE: INFA) has announced the launch of its Intelligent Data Management Cloud™ (IDMC) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This strategic expansion includes the establishment of a new Point of Delivery (PoD) in Riyadh, marking a significant investment in the region’s cloud-first data management services.

This initiative is a testament to Informatica’s support for Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to digitally empower the economy. The Riyadh PoD is expected to accelerate the transition of government entities to secure, cloud-based systems, aligning with the nation’s cloud-first policy.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology reports anticipate the cloud computing sector to double, contributing an additional USD 13.3 billion to the GDP within three years. Informatica’s move is poised to transform Riyadh into a hub of data-driven innovation, bolstering economic and digital development throughout the Kingdom.

The IDMC platform, powered by Informatica’s CLAIRE® AI technology, offers a comprehensive suite of cloud-native data management services. With the new KSA PoD, customers will have access to a range of services, including the Cloud Data Marketplace, enhancing data sharing and decision-making capabilities across the region.
