FPT Corporation, a global technology leader, has announced Christophe Schwanengel as the new CEO of FPT France. Schwanengel’s appointment is a strategic move to bolster FPT France’s growth and diversify its client base across various industries. The company aims to rank among France’s top 50 IT companies by 2028.
Dang Tran Phuong, Senior EVP of FPT Software, expressed confidence in Schwanengel’s expertise to enhance service quality, especially in data services and product engineering. The recent acquisition of AOSIS, a French IT consulting firm, is set to strengthen FPT France’s capabilities, particularly in the aviation sector.
With over two decades of industry experience, Schwanengel has held significant roles, including VP of Sales at HCL and Business Development Director at CSC, securing contracts worth over $500 million. As FPT France’s CEO, he is committed to driving growth and digital transformation.
Since its French debut in 2008, FPT has solidified its market presence, notably collaborating with Airbus on digital initiatives since 2017. The subsidiary ranked in France’s top 100 ICT Companies in 2023 and acquired an 80% stake in AOSIS to boost its SAP, Data, Cloud, and smart solutions offerings. FPT France is set to expand its European footprint and aims to build a 500-strong expert team to support local partners.
