SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Orpheus Uranium Limited (ASX: ORP) has announced the appointment of Clinton Dubieniecki as the new Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Dubieniecki is slated to assume his role in late May 2024, bringing over 15 years of experience in the uranium industry to the table.
The selection of Mr. Dubieniecki follows an exhaustive search for a leader capable of steering Orpheus through its next growth phase as it aims to become a leading uranium explorer in South Australia and the Northern Territory. His tenure at Heathgate Resources as Principal Geologist, where he played a pivotal role in the development and production of uranium resources at the Four Mile Uranium Mine, has prepared him for this challenging new position.
Mr. Dubieniecki’s expertise extends to the implementation of advanced technical skills that have led to the discovery of significant economic resources, thereby extending the life of existing mines. He has also been instrumental in pioneering new techniques to tap into previously unreachable resources and overseeing regional exploration programs that have pinpointed areas rich in uranium mineralization.
His leadership qualities, coupled with his educational and mentoring capabilities, make him an ideal fit for Orpheus. The company’s Executive Chairman, Mick Billing, expressed enthusiasm for Mr. Dubieniecki’s appointment, noting his unique experience in the exploration, discovery, and delineation of world-class sandstone-hosted uranium systems as vital for Orpheus’s ambition to establish itself as a frontrunner in the industry.
