OFS Portal, LLC, a leading provider of B2B eCommerce solutions for the energy industry, has appointed Mimi Stansbury as its new CEO, effective 1 March 2024. She succeeds Chris Welsh, who has led the firm for nine years and expanded its community from 200 to over 600 oil & gas operators.
Mimi Stansbury has a strong background in accounting, finance, and law, and has been with OFS Portal since 2015. She has played a key role in developing the next generation of digital highways for complex and agile supply chains across the globe. She has also been involved in the US Exchange Framework Market Pilot, a project to create policies, rules, and guidelines for the Digital Business Networks Alliance.
Mimi Stansbury said she was honored and excited to lead the global upstream oil and gas suppliers at OFS Portal, and to extend the B2B eCommerce efficiency to alternative energy customers and cross-industries. She said OFS Portal was at a very crucial and influential phase as it continued to emphasize the importance of data protection and standardizing electronic invoicing across borders, industries, and governments.
Chris Welsh, who will continue to assist OFS Portal in an executive capacity, said he was extremely pleased with Mimi’s appointment and confident she would sustain and improve OFS Portal’s key role in defining energy digitalization for the industry and its current and future supplier members.
Marvin Jones, OFS Portal Board member and OFSE Executive IT Operations Baker Hughes, said he was looking forward to Mimi’s leadership and expertise as she assumed the role. He praised her unquestioned background and contributions in expanding the OFS Portal community.
