Carenet Health acquires Health Dialog

Carenet Health, a leading partner in simplifying and powering the business of healthcare, announced that it is acquiring Health Dialog, a global provider of clinical decision support services. The acquisition will allow Carenet to use its combined platform, analytics and clinicians to improve efficiency and outcomes for its clients.

Health Dialog offers personalized population health solutions to various healthcare stakeholders, including health plans, providers, employers and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Carenet is buying all of Health Dialog’s assets from Rite Aid, which include a top-notch clinical staff, essential population health programs and powerful data analytics and modeling tools.

Carenet’s CEO John Erwin and president Mick Mazour praised Health Dialog’s team, analytics and insights, and said that they share the same commitment to enhancing care through data-driven and empathetic interactions between patients and clinical experts. They also said that integrating Health Dialog’s offerings into Carenet’s portfolio will lead to better business results for their clients and better care for their members, patients and customers.

Both Carenet and Health Dialog have accreditations from NCQA, URAC and HITRUST. Carenet helps more than 600 premier health plans, providers and health systems to reimagine population health and put the consumer and patient at the center of health care decisions.
