Frontpoint Health, a leading Home Health and Hospice platform, has announced the acquisition of High Plains Senior Care Group (HPSC), a large Home Health and Hospice company in Texas. The deal will enhance Frontpoint’s ability to provide care to Medicare Advantage patients in over 176 counties throughout Texas and the Southeast.

Frontpoint Health, a portfolio company of Cimarron Healthcare Capital and Tacoma Holdings, did not disclose the financial terms of the private transaction. Brent Korte, CEO of Frontpoint Health, said that HPSC was a perfect fit for their vision and culture of providing best-in-class clinical care. He added that the acquisition would accelerate Frontpoint’s growth and integration with Medicare Advantage plans in the high-growth, underserved market.

Andy McBee, former Executive Chairman of HPSC, said that he was excited to support HPSC as an investor in the combined business. Craig Johnson, former Chief Operating Officer of HPSC, will now serve as the Vice President of Home Health for Frontpoint Health. He said that he was thrilled to partner with Frontpoint Health to provide excellent patient care to more people in Texas and the Southeast.

Korte also said that their partnership with HPSC would help them to help more seniors stay out of the hospital and live healthier, longer lives. He said that the rapid growth of Medicare Advantage enrollment was one of the most impactful trends in modern healthcare and that Frontpoint’s model was uniquely aligned to serve Medicare Advantage patients. He said that he believed their company was well positioned for the future of care in the home.
