Datasite, a leading SaaS platform for complex, strategic projects, has announced the acquisition of Sherpany, a Zurich-based board reporting and meeting management software provider. The deal is expected to close in Q1 2024, subject to closing conditions.
The acquisition will add advanced functionality to Datasite’s product suite, enabling board collaboration and meeting management. Datasite’s CEO, Rusty Wiley, said that the integration of Sherpany’s capabilities will enhance organizational productivity and add value for customers.
Sherpany, founded in 2011, offers software that streamlines board and general meeting preparation, execution and archiving. Sherpany will operate as a strategic business unit within Datasite and function as a standalone entity, supported by Datasite’s ongoing investment.
Sherpany’s CEO, Tobias Häckermann, said that the acquisition will expand the scope and reach of their board collaboration and meeting management solutions. Sherpany’s Chairwoman, Nicole Herzog, said that she and her fellow shareholders are excited to entrust Sherpany to new owners.
