Bona, a global leader in premium floor products, has announced the acquisition of its long-time Australian distributor Ezi Floor Products (EFP), strengthening its presence and growth in the Asia-Pacific region.
Bona acquires its Australian distributor Ezi Floor Products, which has been the exclusive importer and national distributor of Bona products in Australia for over 20 years, will now be a subsidiary of Bona. The acquisition was formalized in February 2024 and will take effect immediately.

EFP was founded in 1994 in Adelaide, South Australia, and opened a second unit in Melbourne, Victoria, in the early 2000s. With the opening of the second unit, EFP became the exclusive distributor of Bona products. In the last 24 years, it has achieved a leading position in the market, with a network of more than 25 commercial distributors and 500 retailers.

As the exclusive distributor of Bona products for over two decades and a family-owned business, we are eager to be part of the Bona family and join the global Bona network. We hope to increase our product offering throughout Australia and develop new business areas, such as e-commerce, as well as expand our contractor network.”
By joining Bona, Bona acquires its Australian distributor Ezi Floor Products will have access to the resources, expertise and investments needed to grow in new channels and business segments. This also solidifies Bona’s long-term commitment to the Australian market.

With this acquisition, Bona now has 17 subsidiaries across Europe, Asia, North America and South America.
