Evergreen Podcasts acquires Bridechilla, a digital wedding hub and podcast

Evergreen Podcasts, a leading podcast network, has acquired Bridechilla, a digital wedding hub and podcast that helps couples plan their weddings with less stress and more joy. The acquisition expands Evergreen’s wedding planning collection and continues the legacy of excellence from one woman-owned company to another.

Bridechilla

Bridechilla was founded by Aleisha McCormack, a comedian and author who created a supportive community for brides and grooms. The Bridechilla podcast, which has over 400 episodes, offers advice, inspiration, and humor to couples navigating the wedding industry. Bridechilla also provides resources such as gift guides, vendor suggestions, and a “Wedding Planning Survival Guide.”

Evergreen Podcasts plans to relaunch the Bridechilla podcast later this year, with McCormack staying involved to ensure a smooth transition. Evergreen will also introduce new hosts and features to enhance the show’s success. Additionally, Evergreen will leverage Bridechilla’s digital assets to extend into other forms of media.

“Bridechilla is a perfect fit for Evergreen Podcasts, as we share a passion for creating top-notch content and engaging audiences,” said Brigid Coyne, Evergreen EVP of Production. “We are thrilled to carry on Aleisha’s mission of guiding couples to the altar as ‘chill’ and drama-free as possible.”

McCormack expressed her excitement about the acquisition, saying, “I’m delighted that Bridechilla found a new home with Evergreen Podcasts, where it can continue to inspire, empower, and entertain ‘Chillas’ worldwide. I can’t wait to see the Bridechilla Community and brand grow while it continues spreading joy, wisdom, and laughter in the world of weddings and beyond.”
