Armis agrees to acquire AI threat hunting company CTCI

Armis, the asset intelligence cybersecurity company, has acquired CTCI (Cyber Threat Cognitive Intelligence), a privately held company that specializes in AI-powered pre-attack threat hunting technology. The deal, which closed this week, will enable Armis to integrate CTCI’s technology into its Armis Centrix™ platform, creating the most advanced early warning cyber intelligence system in the world.

Armis Centrix™ will leverage CTCI’s proprietary intelligence database and Armis’ Asset Intelligence Engine to provide early warning indicators based on intelligence from the dark web, AI-based honeypots and known adversaries. This will help security operations teams to prevent breaches, detect attacks and determine if an organization has been compromised.

Yevgeny Dibrov, CEO and Co-Founder of Armis, said that the acquisition signals their commitment to be the core platform that manages the entire attack surface. He added that enterprises and organizations using Armis Centrix™ for Actionable Threat Intelligence will lead from a position of strength in managing their cyber exposure.

Andrew Grealy, CEO and Co-Founder of CTCI, said that the fusion of Armis and CTCI will empower organizations to take a proactive security stance and stop an attack before it is even launched. He said that security teams often lack the warning and the visibility that they need to counter the escalating cyber threats.

Armis is embarking on a bold 5 year strategy to create the leading cyber exposure management platform and the biggest asset intelligence company in the world. It plans to grow its award-winning Armis Centrix™ platform to be the chosen solution for Fortune 100, 200 and 500 organizations and government entities around the world.
