AD Ports Group buys 60% stake in Dubai Technologies for AED 28 million

Abu Dhabi, UAE: AD Ports Group, a leading provider of trade digitalisation solutions, has acquired a majority stake in Dubai Technologies, a developer of intelligent ports and transportation platforms. The deal will enhance AD Ports Group’s digital trade portfolio and capabilities, as well as create cost synergies and new opportunities for international expansion.

Dubai Technologies’ flagship product, Minato®, is a state-of-the-art digital twin technology for ports that will complement AD Ports Group’s single window offering for ports’ digitalisation.

Dubai Technologies also offers four transportation platforms and nine white-label solutions for regional government bodies. The company has a team of over 300 experts working across the UAE and India. AD Ports Group has an R&D hub in Vietnam following its previous acquisition of TTEK Inc.

The founder will retain 40% stake in the company and the existing leadership team will remain in management to deliver on the strategic growth plans.
