ABU DHABI: ADNOC Gas, a world-class integrated gas processing company, has announced a 10-year agreement to supply 0.5 mmtpa of LNG to GAIL India, India’s leading natural gas company. The deal strengthens ADNOC Gas’ global presence, especially in the Asian LNG market, and reinforces the relationship between the UAE and India.
The agreement is one of several international LNG sales agreements that ADNOC Gas has signed, highlighting its position as a global export partner of choice. ADNOC Gas is also investing in domestic projects to meet the growing demand for natural gas, a key fuel in the global energy transition.
Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Alebri, CEO of ADNOC Gas, said: “This long-term LNG supply agreement with GAIL India marks a significant step forward in our commitment to continue providing reliable and sustainable energy solutions to our partners and customers around the world.”
ADNOC Gas is part of ADNOC’s integrated gas masterplan, which ensures a sustainable and economic supply of natural gas in the UAE. ADNOC is also developing a new low-carbon Ruwais LNG project, which will be the first LNG export facility in the MENA region to run on clean power, supporting ADNOC’s Net Zero by 2045 ambition.
