GS Foods Group, Inc., a foodservice partner owned by Highview Capital, LLC and A&M Capital Partners, has acquired Diamond Foods, a regional K-12 food distributor based in New Orleans. The acquisition follows GS Foods’ recent purchase of Lamm Foods and strengthens its presence in the Louisiana market.
GS Foods, which has nearly 50 years of experience in food service distribution and product solutions, is committed to providing high-quality food solutions to the K-12 market in the region. Diamond Foods, founded in 1982 by Jerry Sax, has been a trusted provider of dry and frozen K-12 products for over four decades, servicing many of the state’s parishes.
Both GS Foods and Diamond Foods share a mission of simply and sustainably nourishing their customers and communities. The partnership will create new opportunities for growth and service excellence for both companies.
