Maximus (NYSE: MMS), a global provider of government services, has announced a new leadership team for its federal growth strategy. The company has reorganized its federal business into three verticals: Civilian, Health, and Defense. Each vertical will be led by an Executive Managing Director (EMD) with extensive experience in the government contracting market.
The new EMDs are:
Diarmuid O’Casey, who will lead the Civilian vertical and work with agencies such as the Department of Labor and the Department of Education. O’Casey joins Maximus from ARSC Federal, where he spent nearly seven years.
Monica Rosser, who will lead the Health vertical and focus on patient-first government programs. Rosser has held leadership roles at Deloitte and Booz Allen Hamilton.
Pamela Powers, who will lead the Defense vertical and oversee operations, business development, and support for defense customers. Powers is a former officer in the United States Air Force and a former Acting Deputy Secretary and Chief of Staff at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The new leadership team aligns with Maximus’s vision of improving the customer experience for the public through market, technology, and business process initiatives.
“The Federal team delivers exceptional services, technology, and approaches to federal agencies that turn their ideas into reality,” said Teresa Weipert, General Manager of Maximus’ Federal Services segment.
“We’ve reached a pivotal moment in federal technology as emerging technologies, like AI and machine learning, are opening up so many possibilities when it comes to modernization. These new leaders will contribute to our company’s evolution as we continue to broaden our agency relationships and deliver bolder solutions to meet today’s missions.”
O’Casey said, “Maximus provides unique value in the federal system integrator community”. “Agencies come to Maximus because they know we can scale and implement programs successfully, from end to end, building trust in government. Today, we support the largest civilian agencies interacting with millions of people per day with the understanding we must deliver the most impactful experience for the American people.”
Rosser said, “The scale and depth of our health capabilities at Maximus allows us to support our customers’ needs in the future of health,” said. “We’re in the midst of a crucial period where agencies are outlining these strategic plans for a new model of care, with greater emphasis placed on technology and meeting patients where they are.”
Powers said, “Maximus is an innovation organization with depth and ability to quickly scale, and I joined the company because the values of focusing on the mission align perfectly with mine”. “My goal is to continue the company’s support of defense customers and push the boundaries of what’s possible with new technologies and enhance current mission-centric programs.”
Weipert, “The Federal growth leaders at Maximus represent the elite in their respective fields, with decades of unique experience implementing successful technology projects to meet a variety of missions”.
“We’ve put new market leaders in place who will develop unique approaches to simplify the complex challenges facing government today and in the future.”
