Logitech, a leading provider of computer peripherals and software, has announced that its innovative Logitech Reach camera is now available to order after a successful crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.
The camera, which features a flexible arm and a high-quality StreamCam, allows users to easily share non-digital content during presentations, classes, conference calls, and streaming sessions.
Logitech Reach was launched on Indiegogo in November 2023, and quickly surpassed its funding goal by more than 700% in just two hours.
The campaign attracted more than 2,100 backers, who praised the camera’s versatility, simplicity, and design. Logitech said it used the Indiegogo platform to gather valuable feedback and insights from potential customers and enthusiasts, and to validate the market and product fit.
The camera is designed to let users stay in the flow of presenting while capturing and sharing any kind of content, such as documents, books, whiteboards, or physical objects. With just one hand, users can adjust the camera horizontally or vertically in a full 360-degree range, while the camera’s premium 1080p / 60fps video quality, glass optics, and smart autofocus ensure a clear and engaging image.
The camera also has a simple, analog button that enables 4.3x lossless zoom with autofocus, making it easy to show even the smallest details.
Logitech Reach is compatible with most computers and conferencing or streaming platforms, and offers a plug-and-play experience over USB-C. The camera is aimed at educators, content creators, and professionals who need a flexible and intuitive solution to share non-digital content with their audiences.
Logitech Reach is expected to be available in the education marketplace this summer, with a suggested retail price of $199.99.
