INFICON, a leading provider of semiconductor Smart Manufacturing software, has acquired all assets of FabTime Inc, a cycle time management software and consulting company, on January 18, 2024. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

FabTime, founded in 1999, helps semiconductor manufacturers improve their cycle time, capacity, productivity, and profitability. Its software and expertise are used by factories in North America and over 15 countries worldwide.

The acquisition of FabTime enhances INFICON’s Smart Manufacturing suite of products, which aims to enable truly autonomous semiconductor manufacturing. Together, INFICON and FabTime offer the most comprehensive industrial engineering software suite and expertise to the semiconductor industry.
