Allient Inc. has acquired SNC Manufacturing Co.

Allient Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacture of precision and specialty motion, controls, and power products, has announced the acquisition of SNC Manufacturing Co., Inc. SNC, a top-tier designer and global manufacturer of electrical transformers, serves a diverse range of sectors including defense, industrial automation, alternative power generation, and energy.

The acquisition will enhance Allient’s power quality capabilities and provide additional low-cost manufacturing capacity. SNC, which generated approximately $40 million in revenue over the past year, will become a Technology Unit within Allient’s Allied Power Technology Pillar. The unit will report to Ashish Bendre, Corporate VP and Group President of Allient.

SNC, founded in 1946 and headquartered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, employs around 440 staff across three locations, with additional manufacturing facilities in Mexico and China. The current leadership team at SNC will continue to manage the business post-acquisition.

And lastly, we are confident that through the utilization of Allient Systematic Tools we are in a good position to leverage our expertise to drive productivity and margin improvements over time.

John has built a strong leadership team and Jim Koepke the current President and COO of SNC Manufacturing Co will continue to lead SNC under Allient as the VP and General Manager of the Technology Unit.
