Samsung has announced a new version of its 32-inch Smart Monitor at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024. The Smart Monitor is a hybrid device that combines a monitor, a smart TV, and a wireless display. It can be used for work, entertainment, and productivity.
The new Smart Monitor features a sleek design that resembles an iMac, with four color options: black, white, silver, and blue. It has a 4K resolution, USB-C single cable connectivity, AirPlay 2, and built-in speakers. It also supports Samsung DeX, which allows users to connect their Galaxy smartphones or tablets to the monitor and use them as a desktop.
One of the main improvements of the new Smart Monitor is the mouse control. Users can now adjust the essential settings of the monitor with a mouse, instead of using a remote. This makes it easier to switch between different modes and inputs.
The new Smart Monitor also has some exclusive features for Samsung Galaxy users. It supports spatial audio with Galaxy Buds, which creates a surround sound effect. It also allows users to transfer images and files between their Galaxy devices and the monitor with a simple drag and drop. Additionally, it can pair with a Galaxy Watch and display notifications and health data on the screen.
Samsung has not revealed the full specifications or the price of the new Smart Monitor, but it is expected to be similar to the previous model, which sold for around $699. The new Smart Monitor will be available in 2024.
