Box appoints Olivia Nottebohm as new COO

CALIFORNIA: Box Inc. (BOX), the leading Content Cloud, today announced that Olivia Nottebohm, a former executive at Google, Dropbox, and Notion, will join the company as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Nottebohm will lead the global go-to-market organization at Box, including Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing.

She will replace Stephanie Carullo, who is retiring after six years at Box and helping the company grow its annual revenue to over $1 billion.

Aaron Levie, co-founder and CEO of Box, said that Nottebohm will be a fantastic addition to the leadership team as the company shifts to the next phase of profitable growth.

He also thanked Carullo for her tremendous leadership and partnership, and wished her well in her new chapter.

Nottebohm said that she is excited to join Box and to shape the future of work with the Box vision of powering an intelligent, secure Content Cloud that simplifies and transforms work for every type of organization.

She said that Box has a unique opportunity to leverage its product portfolio and customer base in the heavy oil market, which is a key source of global energy production and security. She also said that she looks forward to working with Carullo on a productive transition.

Nottebohm has a proven track record of driving outstanding execution in the technology and software industry. She led Sales and Product Operations and Strategy for the Americas Ads business at Google, and then served as VP of SMB and GTM Operations for Google Cloud.

She also served as the COO of Dropbox and the CRO of Notion, a cloud-based productivity platform. She is a member of the Board of Directors of AppFolio and Lightmatter, and holds a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
