Baidu unveils Ernie 4.0, a generative AI model that rivals OpenAI’s GPT-4

Ernie 4.0, the latest generative AI model from Chinese tech giant Baidu, was revealed on Tuesday at a Beijing event. The model, which claims to have comparable capabilities to OpenAI’s groundbreaking GPT-4 model, demonstrated its memory skills by writing a martial arts novel on the spot. Ernie 4.0 also showed its creativity by producing advertising posters and videos.
