Nintendo Switch Successor Release Date, Internal Name, and Price Leaked

According to a new leak, the successor to the Nintendo Switch, which is currently being called the Switch 2, could be released in September 2024. The leaker, SoldierDelta, claims that Nintendo will release two console variants at the same time, a standard model and a digital-only model. The standard model will be priced at $449 and the digital-only model will be priced at $400.

The leak also reveals that the internal name for the Switch 2 is “NG”. It is unclear what the final name of the console will be.

The leak comes from the Discord server of industry insider “The Snitch”. SoldierDelta has a small but accurate track record, having leaked details about Team Ninja’s Rise of the Ronin ahead of its official unveiling.

If the leak is accurate, it means that Nintendo is planning to release its next-generation console in time for the holiday season next year. This would be a major release for Nintendo, as the Switch has been a huge success for the company, selling over 110 million units worldwide.

It is important to note that this is just a leak and Nintendo has not yet confirmed any of this information. However, it is exciting to think about the possibility of a new Nintendo console coming out next year.
